  1. Kilrajas says:
The verses in 'Creepy Green Light' sound almost like a crunchy reworking of 'Green Man' from 'October Rust' but it is clearly outlined as its own by the doomy passage towards the end of the song. Unsurprisingly (probably due to its overall style), ‘World Coming Down’ holds two of Type O’s most under-appreciated and greatest songs 4/5.

General CommentThis song is clearly about the return of the dead. "This halloween So unlike any other" Halloween is thought to be a time when the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead is thinnest, allowing spirits to enter this world. This halloween is the first one after the death of his love. Or it is the first one after he learned that death isn't the end.

Creepy Green Light Lyrics: This Halloween / So unlike any other / Her final words / Don't be afraid / Of the green light / Of the green light (green light) / On muddy ground / I'm lying drunk on.

"World Coming Down" is a song by Type O Negative, included on the fifth album World Coming Down, released in This one sounds like The Beatles song "She Said She Said" except it is much slower. It features a sitar and tambura. Lyrics Edit.

World Coming Down received mostly positive reviews upon release. AllMusic critic Steve Huey gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Adam Wasylyk of Chronicles of Chaos gave it a 10 out of 10, saying “An album that won’t be ignored, it’s my favorite album of Hands down.”.
  6. Fenrihn says:
World Coming Down is their fifth studio album and is considered to be the darkest of the band’s releases, having been written after a series of deaths in Steele’s family. It was their first album to reach the Top 40 on the Billboard chart.
  7. Akinosar says:
AllMusic Review by Steve Huey [+] Three full years after their last album, Type O Negative finally returned with World Coming Down, a record that might alienate some fans brought on board with October Rust but which actually stands with the best of their work. Many of the songs most closely resemble the dirgier parts of Bloody Kisses -- still melodic, but not as immediately accessible, and 8/
